Combines well with St John's Wort or vervain as an uplifting and restorative nerve tonic and with skullcap for a slightly more relaxing nerve tonic. Combine with nettles for a nutritive tea.
Directions for Use
One to two teaspoons to one cup of boiling water. Brew for 10 minutes, strain and drink up to four times daily.
Precautions
Avoid if suffering from gluten allergy/sensitivity.
Notes on the Herb
Oat straw can improve stamina and have a gentle anti-depressant action over the long-term. It is used in conditions affecting the nervous system such as ME and MS, or during convalescence. Suitable for children.
